Unfortunately, one of the most anticipated Blue Jackets vs. Flyers story lines will not unfold in the first meeting of the season series. That would be of goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky returning to face his old team for the first time since being traded in June 2012, and facing the player (Mason) he essentially replaced in Columbus. Bobrovsky, currently rehabbing a strained groin suffered in the Blue Jackets' 1-0 win over Tampa Bay on Dec. 3, resumed skating on Thursday and is on track to return sometime after the New Year.
