The Stanley Cup playoff race is reaching a fever pitch and we're going down the stretch, particularly so in the Eastern Conference where four teams (the Blue Jackets included) are in the mix for two Wild Card spots. As with so many of the good teams in the NHL, solid goaltender is often one of the primary ingredients in their recipe. 

In the Metropolitan Division this season, we've seen some outstanding goaltending and the statistics back up the claim. Who are the best starters with at least 30 games played for their team? Let's take a look...

Since returning from a groin injury on Jan. 6, Bobrovsky has been the go-to guy for the Blue Jackets and the reigning Vezina Trophy winner has been outstanding between the pipes. He's started the last 18 games in a row for Columbus, which hopes to stay alive in the playoff chase when it faces Detroit tomorrow at Nationwide Arena.
